Money Advice Service

Money trouble?

St John's Church Rosmead St Hull, can help with money and budgetting problems, and make referrals to free debt advice services.

Money - help with budgeting, benefit checks, filling in forms . . .

Food and Fuel - we can refer anyone with an immediate crisis to Hull Foodbank. A food bank voucher gets you 3 days' supplies for the whole family. It also qualifies for help with gas & electricity payments, if you use a prepayment meter.

Acts435 - the Archbishop of York's charity for raising small (up to £120) donations for people who need help to pay for (for example) household furniture and equipment, school trips or uniforms, children's clothing, or debts. You can donate anonymously to a request of your choice at Acts435. Drypool Parish is now a member of Acts435, and we can put our own requests on the website for local people in need.

Open to all - to ask for help you don't have to be unemployed, homeless or on benefits. Nor do you have to be a member of the Church - people of all faiths and none are welcome. We can't help with every problem, but if you're not sure ask anyway - we will refer you to someone who can.
